who is nicky?

Hi my name is Nicky and I am a professional bra fitter

I have worked within Australian department stores for twenty years with major underwear companies

All bras vary a bra should be comfortable staying in position, not digging in skin and straps to stay in place and not slipping down your shoulders.

This isn't always easy to find though so in our one on one fitting hosted by Bare Truth Lingerie we can go over all of this together and we can find the best bra for you.

Fittings with me can be especially helpful if you are looking for a maternity bra or a bra after a mastectomy or lumpectomy.

I can't wait to meet you and help you find the bra that fits you.

Nicky's main tips are as follows:

"After breast surgery for mastectomy or lumpectomy - it is best to wear a specifically designed bra for recovery whilst breasts are tender and swollen. It is important to look for:

Front fastening bras are easier to put on whilst recovering and mobility-limited

Gentle compression help with the healing process

Wirefree

Soft breathable fabric, such as moisture-wicking microfibre for comfort

No harsh seams

Deep side panels

Pocket cups for prostheses or breast forms"
